Narked Records presents the latest project by Grammy® Award nominated Musician and Producer Arun Shenoy and renowned producer Matthew Shell, “Shadows”. The smooth jazz production is the 6th single by the collective known as The Groove Project. The collaboration consists of an 8 man line up including pianist Lonnie Park and Saxophonist Marcus Mitchell. “Shadows” is a relaxing listen for music fans and its concept was inspired by “man’s fascination with flight” while drawing on the famous Amelia Earhart quote, “you haven’t seen a tree until you’ve seen its shadow from the sky” (Narked.com).
The Groove Project has released a visual experience for “Shadows”, now streaming on YouTube. Check out the video below.

The Groove Project is set to release a full-length smooth jazz/contemporary concept album sometime during the summer of 2020. Until then, fans should be on the lookout for a new single every month leading up to the official album release. The group’s concept album is a tribute to Roshni Mohapatra (7 January 1980 – 13 December 2018). Having been influenced by performers such as David Bowie and Pink Floyd, her vision for Arun Shenoy’s earlier project consisted of an entire multi-sensory experience to include “art, music, animation and physical packaging” (Narked.com). “Shadows” is now streaming on all major digital music platforms.
